Today nifty traded in a tight range with negative bias and closed below the crucial level 5275. Volume was good. Market breath was negative with 21 advances and 29 declines. FII’s were net buyers for 779.31 crores. DII’s were net sellers for 499.76 crores. Open interest in nifty futures had increased tremendously with price decline suggest that fresh shorts had created.
